TERMS OF USE
Clear expectations for using Homara.
Effective August 8, 2026
These terms govern use of Homara’s websites, homeowner guidance, home records, professional coordination, contractor tools, and related communications. By using Homara, you agree to these terms.
What Homara provides
Homara helps people organize home information, understand possible next steps, and identify or coordinate with home-service professionals. Homara is not an emergency service, contractor, engineering firm, inspection company, legal adviser, insurer, or guarantor of project results.
Safety and professional judgment
Guidance is informational and may not reflect conditions that cannot be observed remotely. Do not rely on Homara for emergencies. Leave unsafe areas and contact emergency services, utilities, or an appropriately licensed professional when conditions require it. Contractors remain responsible for their own inspection, scope, pricing, licensing, permits, work, and warranties.
Accounts and acceptable use
Provide accurate information, safeguard your account, and use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, impersonate another person or business, submit harmful content, scrape private data, interfere with service operation, or use Homara to deceive or harass others.
Recommendations and contractor relationships
Recommendations consider available evidence such as credentials, service fit, geography, availability, and quality signals. Evidence can be incomplete or change. A recommendation is not a guarantee. Any service agreement is between the homeowner and contractor unless Homara expressly states otherwise in writing.
Contractor membership and payments
Paid contractor features, prices, trials, renewals, and cancellation terms are shown before purchase. Subscription billing is processed by Stripe. Membership does not purchase ranking, guarantee leads, or guarantee appointments. Applicable fees are nonrefundable except where required by law or stated otherwise.
Content, uploads, and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit and grant Homara the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, and deliver the service. Homara’s software, brand, editorial content, and service design remain protected by applicable law. Do not upload content you lack authority to use.
Availability and liability
Homara is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or error-free output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Homara is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Termination and changes
You may stop using Homara at any time. We may restrict access to protect users, comply with law, enforce these terms, or address abuse. We may update these terms and will post material changes with a revised effective date.
